What you will do:

  • Perform all accounting operations related to the treasury back office activities of the Bank – analyze, classify, combine and book economic information received from various sources, into the accounting registry
  • Monitor and process particular kinds of international payments on demand or for the benefit of the Bank
  • Perform accounting operations for primary accounting documents for various expenses
  • Reconciliation of nostro accounts and the timely submitting of all available information to related parties
  • Perform Nostro and loro transfers
  • Perform payments and process the operations on the Bank’s credit lines; operations related to Repo deals and all related confirmations and payments; operations related to the purchasing and selling of bonds and all related confirmations and payments
  • On a daily basis send reports to the banks that maintain loro accounts with ProCredit Bank
  • Perform operations on received approvals for cash withdrawals from BNB
  • Daily monitor and reconcile accounts related to the cashflows in the Bank
  • Prepare reports and accruals on expenses related to the monthly closing procedures
  • Prepare various reports for internal purposes of the Bank, particular departments, the shareholders or the Management
  • Participate in working meetings of the Accounting department for discussing current projects and daily tasks; provide suggestions for their effective and efficient completion
  • Timely and accurate processing of documentation in the accounting registries

  • Knowledge and observance of the normative documents directly related to the activity – Payment services and systems act, Currency legislation; Ordinance 28 of BNB for notifications and documentation presented to the providers of payment services abroad or to third parties, Ordinance 27 of BNB for the statistical information on payment balance; Ordinance 31 of BNB for settlement of state bonds
  • University degree in Accounting and Controlling, Finance or Economics
  • Previous working experience at a similar position in a bank or financial institution (minimum 3 years)
  • Computer literacy and technical skills
  • Very good command of MS Office
  • English language - Upper-Intermediate level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; attentiveness to details;
  • Prioritisation of tasks and work organisation
