Sometimes a career choice says more about a person than a long list of skills. And Emiliya’s story is exactly such an example — a choice driven not by chance, but by a clear recognition of values, environment, and opportunities for growth.

Emiliya holds the position of Expert Retail lending, but for her, the role is much more than a formal job title. When choosing an employer, she focused on stability — both institutional and within the team. This is precisely what drew her to ProCredit Bank.

The bank’s international character, dynamic work environment, and clearly defined culture immediately stood out to her. But what impressed her most were the values — transparency, sustainability, and teamwork.
“I recognized my own beliefs in the bank’s values,” she shares. “And that was decisive for me.”

In her three years at ProCredit Bank, Emiliya has worked in several different departments — from client-facing roles to back-office functions. This experience has allowed her to see the bank from multiple perspectives, understand the specifics of different processes, and discover her own strengths.

According to her, the opportunity to move between departments is one of the bank’s greatest advantages. It encourages continuous learning, responsibility, and the development of professional competencies.

Throughout her work, Emiliya has also discovered one of the most important principles in a team environment — the importance of communication.
“Communication is the foundation of a good team. When it is clear and timely, everything else falls into place,” she says.

Outside of work, Emiliya finds her balance between movement and calm. Sports give her energy and tone, while books offer the quiet she needs.
She often chooses to spend her lunch break in the bank’s library — a short moment of “book-powered recharging” that helps her restore focus and return to her tasks with a fresh mindset.

These small moments for herself, she says, are part of a sustainable rhythm between professional and personal life. And a good working environment is key to maintaining that rhythm.
