In order to apply for a mortgage loan, you must be a Bulgarian citizen with permanent residence in Bulgaria and a valid identity document. The main requirements you need to meet to qualify for a mortgage loan are:
- To be employed on a permanent contract (after successful completion of a probationary period);
- To have a good credit score;
- To have social security and health insurance;
- 50% of your income must be enough to cover all your monthly obligations, including the new mortgage payment.
