ProCredit Bank wins EMEA Finance Achievement Award for best securitisation deal in South Eastern Europe

In today’s ceremony, ProCredit Bank Bulgaria received the EMEA Finance Achievement Award for the best securitisation deal in South Eastern Europe (SEE) for the first time.

This was the first capital relief transaction between the European Investment Bank Group (EIB Group) and ProCredit Bank Bulgaria and represents one of the first synthetic securitisations in Bulgaria.

Ivan Dachev, Executive Director and Member of the Management Board of ProCredit Bank Bulgaria, accepted the award on behalf of the bank and highlighted the good and long-standing cooperation with the EIB Group. “Under this financial agreement we have been able to provide efficient support to small and medium-sized enterprises to foster their growth and development. This is in line with ProCredit’s strategic priority to support our clients in their transition to a sustainable future.”

The EMEA Finance Achievement Awards are among the most important awards in the banking sectors in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. The financial institutions were nominated by their respective banking clients and selected by the EMEA Finance editorial team. The award also recognised the banks and capital market transactions that exemplify diligent and innovative work in the EMEA region.
