Ivan Dachev has been part of ProCredit Bank since 2002, and his professional career here has always been closely tied to numbers.

As a member of senior management, he is responsible for the Bank’s Legal Department, Accounting, Management Information Systems, and Credit Administration.

Ivan believes that financial stability lies not only in numbers, but in sustainable decisions that primarily build trust. Every decision carries responsibility for the future — both for the team and for all clients. He emphasizes that it is important not only to have information, but also to know how to work with it and apply it in daily operations. He shapes his strategy by critically examining not just the balance sheet, but also what lies behind the impressive figures. For him, finance is not merely a function, but an active role in building a stable and responsible organisation. He does not aim for short-term profit maximisation, but for long-term sustainability based on a balance of vision, analytical thinking, and a human-centred approach.

He holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and Control from the University of National and World Economy. In 2011, he completed the ProCredit Academy programme in Germany.
